What am I actually doing down here????

The machines have been purring here in my basement studio. I think summer is slow coming this year, simply as a courtesy to me. I work far more efficiently when the sunshine and weather aren't so inviting.... beckoning me out of the basement!





Weddings are in the air, and I am having a ball creating, useful, beautiful gifts for bridesmaids.  The brides I'm working with have told me they can't wait to see the faces of their bridesmaids when they see their gifts. Who wouldn't love opening a box at the rehersal dinner and finding a black and white pleated wristlet inside???
One bride wrote to me : "The girls loved their bags. They used them on the wedding day and are still using them. So thank you so much."  Awww. That makes me feel all warm and fuzzy :)

I am busy in the planning stages of my summer open house, so watch for details soon. I am also opening up my calender for some hostess open houses, so if you or anyone you know would be willing to host a Gathered and Sown open house, I would be honored to oblige! Wink,wink....
