Freshly Picked sent me a sample pair of the Moccs to use in my photo shoot, and can I tell you...they are even more GORGEOUS in person! I got a bad case of leather envy when I pulled them out of their cute little muslin bag! Oh the beautiful stuff I could make....sigh....

Their amazing rainbow of supple, soft leather will make choosing a color a difficult decision! These little shoes will hug your childs feet, but give their toes room to wiggle. My little model Athena loves the moccs so much, that her Mom told me they are the only pair of shoes she ever wants to wear anymore. Can you blame her?

Finally Here! The Ruffled Diaper Bag :)

Introducing Gathered & Sowns signature Ruffled Diaper Bag!

With the crazy popularity of my ruffle bag collection, I've had lots of requests for a ruffled diaper bag....and here it is!

Made in all the same fabrics and colors as my previous ruffle bag collection, the diaper bag offers you more room, more pockets, an adjustable strap (can wear across your body, a Mom must- have!) and, of course, more ruffles.

At 15x12x5, you can easily fit a can of sanitizing wipes (this is a big one shown in the pic below) and all of your baby nescessities. On the back of the bag, I included 2 large slip pockets, so Mom can easily drop and reach her phone, keys, wallet etc.

The strap adjusts from about 31 to about 51 inches, so you can carry it traditionally, over your shoulder, or you can slide it bigger to wear it cross body...aka hands free :)

And as with all of my products, you can get matching accessories for your new diaper bag. A wristlet, Bible cover, ruffle purse....you'll be so cute, organized and ruffley!

Custom Diaper Bag

When someone goes out of their way for me, I love to go out of my way for them
Recently a friend of mine who lives in a land far, far away came to visit family in town. While she was here, she came to order YET ANOTHER Gathered & Sown bag. (I love repeat customers!!)

She noticed my leather and requested a custom leather bag..... and this is what we came up with!

She was looking for a new diaper bag. She came armed with specific dimensions and requested a metal zipper. Done and done :) She also needed easy pockets to reach her cell phone on the outside, so I added two super deep pockets on the front. Leather edged, of course, wink!

Another example of the goodness of the people I'm surrounded by??? See the zipper pull? My best friends Dad MADE those for me! He laser engraved leather scraps which I now use as zipper pulls on all my bags. A nice gift certificate for his favorite bakery is waiting delivery in my car right now :)

The back of the bag is solid leather, with an accent stripe through the middle. I used contrasting red thread to keep it a little sassy and unforgettable....

I rolled the handles. Verena proved to be worth her weight in gold on this step! Wondering who Verena is?? ??

I love how the metal zippers glide on the leather... thanks Zipit!

I used a couple more laser engraved pieces inside the bag. I don't want her to forget who made it, after all :) I kept the edges of this one raw, for a different look.

I also trimmed the inside pieces with leather. I like to add this detail to my leather collection.  

She's flying back to Texas with her new addition as I write this... and I'm enjoying the bounty of beautiful leather she brought me :D

1. The Leather Bow Clutch

A contemporary, luxurious update from our best selling Wristlet, this clutch is longer, leaner and melts in your hand!

Detailed with a leather bow across the front, the accent is cinched in the middle with a piece of leather that matches the body of the clutch. I added contrast stitching to both the front and the back of the clutch for a little added character.

The wrist strap is layered leather and finished with a silver lobster clasp which attaches to the zipper.

Inside you will find two slip pockets to organize your important cards, as well as ample space for your phone, coin purse and more.

Approx size is 9 inches x 4.25inches

Designed with the busy girl in mind, I wanted to make a bag that would fit everything she needs for the day, but yet has that signature Gathered & Sown quirky style!

The body and straps of the bag are 100% leather. But in between the leather folds are an accent of a coordinating cotton print. 

Inside you will find slip pockets which you can use to organize and keep your essentials within easy reach.

I am always being asked if I have any "big" bags available, and this is my response!

Perfect as a diaper bag, work bag, laptop bag, large purse or small carry-on.

I created this bag with 100% leather on the top, with contrast stitching accents. Then I use a coordinating cotton print on the bottom, giving it a splash of color and unique personality.

The zipper top with oversized leather zipper pull will keep everything inside, and the handles attached on metal rings are strong as well as  pretty.

4. Pleated Leather Handbag

The pleats are soft, yet make a beautiful statement, and the accent of the sturdy metal rings adds a wink of femininity to this everyday bag. 

One of my favorite design details when working with leather is contrast stitching, so I use it in abundance.

The perfect size for an everyday bag, you will easily fit a large wallet inside, along with your phone and other necessities.

Lined with 100% cotton, you will find 2 slip pockets inside to hold help you stay organized, and the recessed zipper closure with over sized leather pull will keep your items secure.

Accented with a simple contrasting bow and stitching, this case is not to busy, yet eye catching at the same time. Fully lined with a cotton lining, with fleece on the front between the lining and cover, to further protect your screen. Top it off with a zip closure and leather zipper pull, you can carry it with you and not worry about it slipping out of its case.

I will create your case at the time of your order. With your order, please specify the item I'm creating it for, as well as the actual dimensions: Inches across the front, inches from top to bottom, and finally depth of the device. 

 Each bag in my leather collection is a limited edition bag, and unless noted as "made to order" they are one of a kind and only available through my etsy shop, or by contacting me directly.
